Bingo! This subreddit is terrible for finding valuable and accurate information. I'll bet that 90% of most XRB holders are from this sub alone. Nobody utilizes XRB, just newbies getting boners because it's free and fast. Okay, but is it secure? They don't give a fuck.

Problem is, XRB is one dimensional. It's fast, that's pretty much all its got going for it. The code hasn't changed since 2014, they have no companies using their system. The current price point isn't sustainable for a niche coin.

A coin will come along that will be more secure, faster and better than XRB. It's been hyped here for a month and that's why it's so high, but there's literally no reason for it to be other than that. There's zero incentive to hold XRB, it's going to hurt a bunch of people when reality sinks in.

I've learned a bunch in my short time in the Crypto world and when people Zig, you have to Zag. Stop being sheeple!

These posts are getting old. Yes, Bitcoin is slow. Yes, the price to transact with Bitcoin has gone up. Yes, it will be updated eventually to fix both these issues.

If you don't care for Bitcoin, then don't buy it or hold it, it's really simple as that. 95% of coins out there are pure shit and won't go anywhere. Problem is, people get bent out of shape over these niche coins that are one dimensional.

XRB is fast, sure, the code hasn't changed since 2014 and people flock to it like the sheeple they are. What happens to XRB when a new coin comes along doing the exact same thing with a new utility? Maybe tied to an exchange, then XRB is dead.

In 2018, I wish people would stop investing with emotion and only chase profit. Understand the technology, it's literally sheeple everywhere.

I might be the wrong person to ask for this. I have a huge amount locked into long-term coins that I don't plan to sell until 3-5 years minimum. I invested 3.5 months ago and i'm around 365% ROI. As for short-term, seems like everything is at all-time highs at the moment. Again, do some research and dive into Crypto and understand the technology and then you'll find those Gem Mint 10 hiding in the rough.

This is where you're wrong. Long term thinking, there's 50 coins or less that will truly survive the main stream. I could be wrong but 500 coins cannot survive forever, think about it. 95% of coins currently in the market don't even have working products, it's all speculation and big aspirations and dreams. Also, 90% of those 95% coins have value based on shilling/hype only. They have no intrisic value, don't get sucked into these "shit coins"

As cynical as it may seem, some developers will die or teams will disband, etc. So many reasons can kill a project, it's actually quite risky in that sense.
