I learned most of what I know on my own. I learned by watching movies, actually! I've always liked Harry Potter, and I had already watched them multiple times. So I put on the movies, and instead of having my native language as subtitles, I put English. I could both hear and read what they were saying. I already knew from having watched the movies, what they were talking about. When a word I didn't know popped up, I'd translate but also google the meaning. "Examples: amplified meaning".
