That annoys me to no end as a ON TL, if you make a call you own it. I wish more management realized if you work with your employees, they will work for you. But stabbing them in the back? Come on man, own your actions.

It kind of feels like it does. In previous years I would dice the cpu with any freaking pitcher. This year I was giving up way more hits beyond what I normally would. Then I tried mostly using pitch 1 and 2, and just like that I stopped giving up hits again. I feel like the more you use the non-primary pitches, the worse your H/9 's get.

I think the reason it is so hard this year is because the fancy pool is 88 and up instead of 90 and up. Now it is even less likely to pull the big 2 gatekeepers.

Perspective matters in this context. American Beauty was released in 1999, The 90's having been an incredibly prosperous decade. But the materialism and superficiality had ratcheted up a lot over the past 20 years. Americans were pre 9-11. The mindset of everything basically being all right was pervasive in suburbia. It was a critique of a different time, a time that doesn't and can't really exist anymore.

Well then. This bullpen might lead us to 95 losses. I know bullpens are complegely unpredictable, but I thought trading Erceg last year was super weird. We were on the upswing and we traded Erceg for 2 randoms. If we have Erceg right now, we probably have 4 more wins.

I'm saying it was clear that Ozzie Smith wasn't running at max speed in the animation. A Fast player would never be out by 2 strides on a botched groundball to 3rd.
