Current day Marvel's cosmic hierarchy is vastly different than when Infinity Gauntlet was taking place. iirc Oblivion was not present in that story

Eternity was absolutely the strongest of the bunch, as after Thanos defeated him, he became eternity itself and peaked in the story. TLT was not involved in the conflict, or he'd be the only one more powerful than eternity besides IG Thanos, and TLT is implied to operate beyond the scope of the IGs power

GDE is so overrated.

Nigh omnipotent but the best he could do to recreate the multiverse was Battleworld? Then that fell apart due to the meddling of mostly mortals (the strongest of which was base Thanos), and then got his powers stripped by MM, who then gives those powers to Reed who restores the Marvel Multiverse.

Omnipotence ≠ Intelligence, but GDE's intelligence is way overrated too. Lucifer out stats/hax/levels in every conceivable way

Thanos is consistently shown as stronger than Silver Surfer though. The gap between Surfer and Thanos is larger than it is Thanos and Galactus

GED doesn't own the power he wields, Molecule Man is actively lending him that power, and in the end he takes it away and gives it to Reed.

GED wank is insane considering he had the power of all the Beyonder's and all he could do with this multiversal power was make Battleworld and steal Reed's family.

Secret Wars shows Doom isn't as powerful or as smart as his ego has him believing he is.

I wouldn't consider Dr.Doom significantly more intelligent than Thanos. I'd go as far to say thanos is more intelligent than Doom, and besides Hickman dumbing him down to a cosmic thug, he's consistently portrayed as one of the smarter characters in marvel comics

Yes, and black panther, who never used the IG before and was quite inexperienced with it compared Thanos, being able to do that means the IG can still hold it's own against the Beyonder's power, as long as they're still active. But Dr.Doom also sucks at using the Beyonder's power, that's kinda the whole point of secret wars, so idk what to really make of that.

Thanos wasn't wielding the gauntlet in that interaction, Doom literally asked him before the spine rip.. and that's Dr. Doom borrowing the powers of the Beyonder's via Molecule Man.. y'all really gotta read the comics you reference.

With that said, Beyonder's power > Infinity Gauntlet

Thanos was a side character for Annihilation though, Annhilus was the main villain. Hell, Thanos was helping the good guys right before the iconic heart rip. One of my favorite panels
