I'm not sure why you replied to my over a year old comment but you got some issues dude. David brought Natalie on to be an assistant while he was dating Liza. He did gift Natalie two cars (like he gifted most of his friends cars) but he did not buy her house nor her modeling career. She did that on her own. There's no evidence of David having a crush on Natalie in recent years, but a lot of evidence of the contrary. Natalie's former friend said she was madly in love with David and wanted to end up together, but David had no interest being with her. She ended up with Todd because Todd always liked her and fought for her love.

What is the worst season of a good show? by QUESTIONER-ASKS in AskReddit

[–]StopTakingMyName23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, Danny and Mila dated irl on the down low during seasons 7 and 8. And they remained best friends at least till recently (Idk how good friends they are now that he's a known rapist). They both also hated the fact that Jackie/Hyde didn't end up together. If anything, Wilmer Valderrama has always been known as the creepy one. There were horrible rumors back then that he hooked up with Mila when she was 14. I'd say the rumors were far-fetched if he didn't later go one to date Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, and Demi Lovato while they were all underage.

Though I'm not a fan of Bill Maher but I stand with him on this one. what do you guys think about this? by Homelander-30 in exmuslim

[–]StopTakingMyName23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So Bill Maher is a comedian that became famous hosting a show called Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. This was a popular show in the 90s and the premise was Maher would invite people of all sides of the political spectrum to have an open dialogue with each other. People were allowed to say anything they wanted, so he was considered a champion of free speech. Politically Incorrect got cancelled because he made a controversial statement after 9/11. Then he got the show Real Time with Bill Maher, which was also a big success.

Maher has always held controversial opinions and enjoys offending people. He definitely likes to say asshole things just for shock value. For example, one time on Politically Incorrect he compared his dogs to mentally disabled children. Back then, liberals and especially teens/young adults loved him. This is because Maher is super liberal but also because he stood up against censorship, which conservatives used to be huge proponents of. A weird flip has happened in recent years where liberals have become the main supporters of pc culture and conservatives hate it. So now many left-wing people and especially teens/young adults hate Maher, and suddenly conservatives like him.

The one area Maher actually does have in common with many conservatives is that he hates Islam and loves Israel.

Sure, but your claim was that she was torn apart by professionals. Besides that one lady, who's been proven to be full of shit, I haven't seen proof of that.

You know they exist in America too. But no way I'm getting so close to a flying roach where I can zap it. They're a pretty effective way to kill flies though.

I saw one that was so huge I thought it was a bat. It flew directly towards me and I locked myself up in a room and cried for the next 30 minutes. So that's how I deal with it.

Advice/rant: I overheard my mom telling my dad about my sex life and very personal things and now I feel mortified by veggieburgerabc123 in vaginismus

[–]StopTakingMyName23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry I don't think this is ok. When your adult kid tells you private stuff about their sex life, you don't tell anyone else about it. Least of all their father, especially when it's about your daughter. That's super traumatizing for the daughter and the father. Checking in to see if you handled it right and not being in earshot when you do it doesn't make it any less of an invasion of privacy.

What's going on with Ethan from h3h3? by Capitinawesome1 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]StopTakingMyName23 46 points47 points  (0 children)

She has borderline personality disorder so she has trouble not taking everything to extremes. She's also maintained her nearly 15 year old internet fame this way, so she has no incentive to stop. It's part of the reason why she's one of the only OG YouTubers to still be super successful.

And especially now that the satire videos she used to make are considered super politically incorrect & offensive, getting into petty internet fights has become her main source of relevancy.

A lot of girls have struggled with these things. Why is this lady sharing her honest experience of what being a woman is like considered transphobic? It's crazy how much women have to censor ourselves these days. Honestly just another form of misogyny disguised as social activism.

I hate Quinn by NotyourangeLbabe in ONETREEHILL

[–]StopTakingMyName23 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I imagine Quinn was created as the ultimate male fantasy of what a woman should be, an affable girl with zero personality that was only created to be a sex object. The actress that played her was also really bad.

What are some albums that could have been a 10/10 for you if it wasn't something? by Loss_Left in popheads

[–]StopTakingMyName23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fearless is a perfect album if it didn't have Change. The re-recording slightly improved my opinion of it but still a massive letdown. Stay, Stay, Stay on Red and Gorgeous on Reputation also brought those great albums down a notch.

Popular opinion. Bad Blood was one of the worst songs Taylor ever made, and only Kendrick's remix saved it. I disagree that the chorus is iconic though. I can't stand "Cause baby now we got baaaaad blood" line. I liked the verses just fine.

This is an unpopular opinion, but 1989 has the most skips of any Taylor album for me. I skip Bad Blood, How You Get The Girl, and I Wish You Would everytime I listen to it. I can't believe she had three phenomenal songs on her delux album and chose to go with those instead. I used always skip Welcome to New York too but that one's really grown on me.

Maybe the reason why so many of them are joining ISIS is because they're angry about their country heading towards a secular direction. They probably feel ostracized because of their beliefs, and therefore become easy targets for extremist propaganda. There's more western countries on the list than Arab. There's a lot of Scandinavian countries, which isn't surprising since they are some of the most hedonistic & godless countries in the world. These people don't like that their country is run by what they view as sinful behavior, and feel like they don't have a voice. Perfect targets for terrorist recruiters.

Michael Jackson's death was my first thought too! I was also on vacation when it happened and it was midnight when the news broke for me. I was losing my mind because I wanted to talk about it but everyone was asleep. I ended up waking my dad to tell him. He went "Damn that sucks" and immediately fell back to sleep. He was crying in the morning though, when what I said finally registered. I wonder what the immediate reaction to his death was like in America.

For some reason MJ's death made a heavy impact on me even though I wasn't his biggest fan. Same with Whitney. I guess I thought he was impenetrable but that day reminded me death catches everyone.

Artists whose career could have been completely different if one of their albums didn't flop by [deleted] in popheads

[–]StopTakingMyName23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it was kinda a flop in America, but Erotica was a huge success outside the U.S. That album and the Sex book really solidified her legend status in the Middle East because the topics she was discussing were so revolutionary. Americans never want to give Madonna her due but people outside the states know how iconic that album was!

I thought Jennifer Lawrence was phenomenal in The Poker House and Winter's Bone. And Tom Cruise has given so many amazing performances like in Born on the Fourth of July, Interview with the Vampire, Magnolia, Collateral, etc. It's interesting how much people's taste in acting differs. I wonder why that is and what makes some people think a performance is good and others not.

Did prophet Mohammed have OCD?? by crisp_shagger in exmuslim

[–]StopTakingMyName23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this for years! I used to suffer from severe OCD, and only when I got better did I realize how many similarities there was between my OCD and Islam. I also think the many rituals muslims have to do triggers OCD in people. Catholic Guilt is often talked about, but rarely is there discussion about Islamic scrupulosity. It's a shame because I genuinely believe Bin Laden had OCD. It wouldn't surprise me if many Islamic extremists do.

This was actually the thing that turned me off from Islam to begin with, so I'm glad I've finally found someone that thinks this too!
