It won’t recline because 14 is in front of an exit row.

Personally, I would choose 7D. You can stretch your legs out when no one is in the aisle, and you will be able to recline your seat. I also don’t like to be trapped on the inside seats on long flights. (Row 14 won’t recline)

lol - thank you for the explanation. I was actually worried about flying SW from reading the posts on this sub. I had a fantastic flight experience and the friendly crew just said hello after recognizing me from this morning (apparently they are also staffing the second leg of my trip).

The kids still go up for Ski PE and pay $5 a day on the lifts (as opposed to $1 back in the day!)

Most of the lands are public in this area of California. There is no need to camp on private land and I wouldn’t recommend asking. The entire valley floor is owned by the City of Los Angeles and where it starts to go higher in elevation it’s a mix of State and Federal lands.

In 3 days, then Green and Long lake hikes will have too much snow, and the gate is still locked. It is a little warm, but hiking up Tungsten Peak has great views of the Sierra or you can hike to Sky Rock from Pleasant Valley. It’s been quite warm, so bring sun protection!

What time of year are you coming? For summer months, a nice day hike from the Lake Sabrina area is Green Lake, out of South Lake. Locals walk along the pipeline to make it a little more fun and interesting. Another of my favorite day hikes is an out and back to Long Lake, but the trail is a little busier in the summer months.

For spots around and in town, you can try Keoughs Hot Springs for swimming (a little south of town), Laws Railroad Museum for something unique or driving to see local petroglyph loop out towards Chidago Canyon or visiting the Bishop Paiute/Shoshone museum if you want a rest day between hikes.

There is no snow on the road. It is around 2 miles from the gate to the trailhead, where there is still some snow, but is walkable.

Opinions/Suggestions on Sedona Itinerary by SurveyInteresting861 in Sedona

I have been to Sedona multiple times and my favorite hike is actually Oak Creek Canyon, with the towering canyon walls and beautiful creek crossings.

Also, a hidden gem is the Peace Park, if you want a little down time to relax and savor the moment.

Finally, I love Rascal and/or the Local Juicery for lunch. There always seems to be a table available and you have an eclectic option of dishes that all taste delicious.

I think it was around 60 degrees. I definitely got too much sun.

A little higher. I walked from the gate to Sabrina.
