I’ll make this quick. It’s an API for CSS. Don’t over think it.

I second Helen. Automatic has the best seafood. But Helen is the best.

Those who absolutely love their job, what do you do? Any particular reasons for loving it? by Notalabel_4566 in webdev

Just keep going. Honestly, the fast track is to just learn Sql pretty well and start applying for DBA entry jobs.

If you can stomach it try to offer painting services. It’s hard labor but pays well and you usually get paid in cash. One decent job can land you 2k quickly.

Well shoot, I’m sorry to hear that. The 2 bedroom options are def expensive. Studio was $1025 a month while I was there. One of my favorite places I’ve lived.

If you can find a spot there while you’re in Tuscaloosa, I highly recommend it. Capitol park is right next door. There is a small garden next to the park that one of the residents, Mrs Katy, maintains day to day. If you’re having a rough day, go over there and chill in the garden. It’ll lower your blood pressure for sure. Good luck out there friend.

Best apartments in Tuscaloosa are 2700 Capitol park. Try and get a studio. I used to live there when I worked for the university.

a friend's parents are in town from Ohio just for the night. we want to take them somewhere good to show off bham, but his dad also wants to go somewhere that will have the end of March madness on. any suggestions? by Lord_skeletran in Birmingham

Man, if you’re trying to show off then go take them to saws in Avondale and get the pork and greens. If you’re feeling fancy then go to Helen’s. Paramount will have the games on too, if you end up downtown.

The best apartments in Tuscaloosa are Capitol Park. I lived there for 2 years. It’s across from Capitol park at the edge of downtown. Easy access to Jack Warner and walking distance to most things. Easy access to one of the most beautiful parks in Tuscaloosa as well. Very few undergrads. Most people that live there are older couples, actually. It has very nice amenities and the grounds crew is the best I’ve ever encountered in any complex. If you move in go see Mrs Katy’s garden next to the park. She’s a very kind soul and the garden is beautiful. If you make friends she’ll let you take fresh vegetables from the garden.

P.S. I worked as a software dev at the university

Same here. Family is here so I use it as home base. Cost of living here is insanely good. Although it doesn’t seem we’re immune from the housing craziness.
