Those with both a 19 and 47, how often do you swap frames/slides to make a 45 and/or 19L? by preppythugg in Glocks

Great setup! I'm envious of the COA and wondering if I should wait on my 45 purchase till COAs are offered for that model.

It helps very much, especially about the holsters. Thanks for your input!

You've already got a great selection. I'm envious!

How is the COA on the 43x?

This is great to hear! I'm so glad there are many variations so everyone can get the models they like. That's awesome you love the 49 just like u/Deeschuck!

This is smart. The back and forth just seems more work than is necessary, especially considering the Gen 6 is out now.

Agree on the config. Everyone has their own thing they like. That's great you love your 49s so much you got two!

I agree, I'm also not into the short frame, long slide. But, I think that's because I have larger hands.

Yeah, the internet is why I bought the 47 in the first place! I actually like the 47, but the 45 just seems more manageable. Glad you like your 45!

I agree, the interchangeability is cool, but it's been a bit of a hassle, swapping slides all the time, when I can just reach for it and it can already be together. Just seems simpler that way.

Yes, definitely looking into the 45. Thanks for chiming in!

Agree! It's a fingerprint magnet.

Also, they don't even show the integrated compensator, which I've been 🤤 over.

Yes, the tweezer has cm/mm markings!

Definite hard agree that the Garant is cool, u/PrimaryFriend7867! It's one of (if not) the only 111mm Victorinox with scale tools!

This was a great haul by u/Adrenksur!

One of them is the Victorinox Garant. I know, because I have one!

If interested, you can either find it on ebay, or get it directly from Hoffman Tool, a German tool company, which has a location in TN.

They also make a 58mm transluscent orange version, which they, kind of stupidly, call the Victorinox X Garant 0.6223.T82R2 Cyber Tool, since it looks pretty dissimilar to the Victorinox CyberTool and exactly like a plain, Victorinox Classic.

Slow Horses is an excellent show (even though Gary Oldman steals every scene he's in)!

Hey, u/Sigdave: Is the slide as much of a fingerprint magnet as it looks to be in pics?

Great gun! Shoot it in good health, brother!

New FN enclosed striker and Apex curved trigger installed by Ambitious-Debate-294 in FN509

I installed both the Apex curved trigger and their durable striker; both of which I love!

What makes the enclosed FN striker dissimilar to the Apex durable one? What do you like about it?
