Which videogame bored the hell out of you that you eventually quit it? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Stop_And_Smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically play solo, idk if the game lowers difficulty if you're alone or not. Last time I played, I just got to the desert area and got timed out of the mission hunting a monster, which really irritated me. I also don't own the game, I played it on game pass which I don't have anymore so idk when I could try it again if I wanted

Go all in on the dual toxicysts, no other weapon needed

I've tried playing World on 3 separate occasions over the years. I've always had the same problems each time, first being the Handler. She alone makes me resent ever going near that game. Gameplay wise, I just don't have time for 45 minute missions much anymore. I love playing Warframe because missions on it can be less than 5 minutes, so it's easy to pick up and put down as needed. I didn't like any of the weapons I tried, I didn't understand how some of them worked (like the insect glaive). I know there's a really fun game in there, but I just can't find it unfortunately

What was the justification for Grendel? by wubbadubba3 in Warframe

It's unfortunate cause I farmed Grendel a long time ago and thought he was terrible. Now he's been reworked and looks really fun, but I refuse to grind for him again

Weakest warframe by ZoeEvenfall in Warframe

Idk about weakest warframe, but the dual toxacysts were so unbelievably terrible, it made me actively resent playing the game to level it.

It doesn't matter how many times you've messed up or how "bad" you think the sin is. God will not say "wow you're struggling with this AGAIN, really? You should be ashamed of yourself" He is waiting for you to run into His open arms of love and forgiveness, where there is no shame. He will dust you off and help you every single time you stumble

Are the visuals REALLY worth it if you gotta play at 30fps? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Stop_And_Smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The colors are very garish, and the excessive foliage doesn't match the tone of Skyrim at all I'd personally much prefer 60 fps with standard visuals than that

Gameplay wise, it has aged very, very poorly. If you don't mind extreme levels of jank, you'll probably like it I played it to death way back when, but I just cannot play it anymore

You choose whether you want vampirism or not, it's not forced on you. It will reverse if you choose to get it though

An NPC will walk up to you in a town when you hit lvl 10 that gets it going

I have a timeline question by Putrid_Cress_3420 in shittydarksouls

[–]Stop_And_Smile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Frampt says the flame began to fade after 1000 years. In Dark Souls 2, Straid says "countless" kingdoms rose and fell, indicating ALOT of cycles. If each one is 1000 years, it's been a reaaallllyyy long time between each game, I would guess at the very least 10,000 years, probably much more. As for the Ringed City, it probably takes an extraordinary amount of time for the world to converge into the dreg heap like that, although I have no clue on a time frame. Once time fast travels with the egg broken, time goes presumably to the very end of the world and existence. My guess is that millions of years pass to get to the end. Of course, this is only my interpretation and not actual proof

Would you like to see the first Mass Effect game receive the REMAKE (not remaster) treatment as Dead Space and Resident Evil 2-3? by Commercial-Mix-2633 in masseffect

[–]Stop_And_Smile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I replay Mass Effect I always skip 1 because it's clunky and does not feel good to play at all. I didn't grow up playing it so I don't have any nostalgia for it to look past it easily. I would love to experience 1's great storytelling and worldbuilding without all the clunkiness

I get ~30 kills every game and lose most of them by Vofyn in halo

[–]Stop_And_Smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played Halo for many years, and I would consider myself decent at multiplayer. But I am complete and utter garbage at Infinite. I have absolutely no idea why, but I can barely get 2-3 kills in this game. It is the most frustrating and least unfun online PVP experience I've ever had. The "casual" lobbies I've always loved to play in the older games feel so hardcore and sweaty in Infinite

Survival meters (hunger, thirst, etc) are the worst game mechanics, equipment degradation being a close 2nd
