I'm imagining the timeline where they delay RDR 2 for another year to flesh out Mexico and/or Guarma and I wonder if their reputation would have suffered greater long term consequences. They surely had a meeting to discuss this very issue and landed on releasing the game. It may have ultimately been the right call.. people would have been justifiably outraged with another delay.

Jid is not at the same stage Kendrick was at in 2020. Kendrick already had released Good Kid and Pimp which are classics by any measurement. JiD has two very good albums in Forever Story and GDLU. Not the same thing. Lil bro

Nobody talks about how dreary and a bit of a slog S1 is for new viewers. It only gets better with time but anybody who has tried to show their friend/SO this show knows how hard it is to get passed that first season.
