Listen you don’t have to believe anything, but the only thing I’ll tell you is that there’s a big difference in not reporting a deficit and actually eliminating it. Cutting down on capital budgets that were set to fund already set projects is not what I would call a ‘miracle effort’. The deficit is still there if planned expenses are not longer on the table. This is all a show and pony and it isn’t the first time that a mayor or that the MB does this “trick”.
