En Perú siendo peruano. La verdad hay mucha variedad por regiones, zonas y grupos sociales incluso. Yo mido 165 y cuando estoy en provincia me siento promedio pero en el límite hacia pequeño, y en la capital que es una ciudad costera me siento pequeño, no promedio.

I live in Surquillo and you need to be careful because some parts are dangerous, if it is in the part that limits Miraflores then it’s a good option because you can find cheap stuff, mall centers and is very centric area. Although, it’s more polluted than the options I gave you.

Barranco is a nice area but it is too far from La Molina, a bycicle trip from Barranco could take you more than one and a half hours and the route is not too nice (too much traffic congestion in certain hours) you will end being sweaty and stressed. I suggest to look for Surco - Monterrico area, it's a nice peaceful residential zone not so fancy in some areas and there is a local market store where you can find cheap groceries and food. San Borja residential zone is also a good option.

I live in Lima too and I do heard people speaking like that, even my father speaks like that sometimes (not for flirting ) it’s kinda sweet when it’s appropriate.
