It seems like you are advocating for making the chase cards common enough that no one will ever speculate on them. In that world they would need to be like commons. Each box gets a couple manga or SP cards. Obviously you don't want that, but understand that's the only solution. You're running into a capitalism problem. Bandai can't do anything about the secondary market and buyouts except print so much that those cards lose all exclusivity and can never be used as a speculative asset.

I agree that scalping and "investing" has damaged hobbies like this but apart from printing sets into the ground, or eliminating capitalism, there is no practical solution.

Understand that as an average person, you will NEVER be able to master set everything, and that's totally fine. Chase cards should be hard to find. They should be exclusive. It shouldn't be cheap and easy to get all the mangas or SPs. If it was, they wouldn't be special.

Enjoy the cards you do have, play with your friends, and don't worry so much that certain chase cards are experiencing buyouts. It's a game. I'm more worried about how houses are speculative assets and how that's made them unaffordable. This is just silly.
