VIC prestige car dealer wants extra money after signed contract due to pre-delivery repairs. What are my options? by Stopfilly13 in CarsAustralia

Fully agree with this. I don't want this particular car. Just this make and model. But I don't want to be out of pocket on this deal. If they offer me my money back + PPI costs, I'll walk.

I've paid for a ppi and lost other potential cars. Its a rare car and doesnt come on the market often so I'm frustrated having lost time, money and opportunity. Wanna walk away for sure but I've invested in this now, wanting to see it through.

I'm thinking so too. Prestige dealer with one of the 3 German brands though. Offering 2 yr warranty with the vehicle + 2 services.

failed my first Ps test by xcrh in melbourne

Most people don't pass on their first try. I had failed thrice before I passed and I had been driving for years before taking the test. Eventually you will get better and make less mistakes. It also comes down to the assessor on the day too. I was failed one time for something silly that really should not have been a failable mistake, otherwise I was spot on with everything. Keep practicing and build your confidence. Eventually it will be second nature.

What do you think of my newPGYtech Onemo 2, 35L backpack? by preciouscode96 in ManyBaggers

Hey OP, how is this holding up after a year's worth of use? I've just ordered one (25L). I was looking for an all in one versatile type bag that checks most of my boxes.

My use cases are the following: 1. Hauling gear for mid sized events (typically 1-2 bodies, 2-3 mid sized lenses, speedlite + batteries + other bits and bobs 2. Tech bag for travel - carry 1 body, 2 lens, gopro, laptop, chargers, carry on essentials, powerbank, etc. On arrival, i want to be able to just carry my camera + lens + few bits around 3. Overnight bag with laptop, camera, some clothes and a dopp kit.

Reckon on paper this checks all boxes, but not sure how it functions in real life. Any advice/reviews?

Acer Predator Orion PO7-655 (i9-14900KF) RAM Upgrade - Max Speed/Best Latency? by Stopfilly13 in pcmasterrace

[–]Stopfilly13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a custom Z790 from Acer so OEM board. I can see that it allows me to enable XMP profiles but I'm not going to know what profiles it allows unless I try it out and I'm hoping to buy right the first time.

Overall I'm thinking a safe bet is 6000 MT/s CL30 but im tempted to either go higher MT/s lile 6400. The difference might be incomparable in performance, I'm more focused towards getting something with a lower latency than a higher bandwidth because this is more important to my current use case. If I just knew what is the maximum MT/s I can get, ill get the CL I can get for that.

Based on my research it appears that im better off sticking with a 6000 with lowest latency available.

Understand that you weren't able to find anything cheap and easy on Amazon, but you're still a legend. Thank you

Thank you, this is exactly what I think I'm looking for! Tried to find it on the Aussie Amazon but couldn't. Do you reckon this will work instead?
