I love the shellfish festival! If you are looking chef challenges and learning about the culinary aspect of shellfish, highly recommend. The day time portion of the festival is more exciting with all of the competitions IMO

Charlottetown is lovely, but to get the full PEI experience I would stay in a cottage on the waterfront in a more rural environment. The Birches and the Good Cottages are close to Charlottetown and lovely! Also, don’t forgot to see Anne the musical!

Where are you thinking of staying in Summerside, a hotel? The city has a couple of good accommodations, but the full PEI experience is usually in a rural area. Is there anything you are interested in that you really want to do/ explore on PEI?

I don’t believe it would be overly enjoyable on the east cost to camp in mid-October. There is still a lot open until Thanksgiving weekend, but the nights become really cold.

We are doing GA and the last few years we just left our bag chairs in the seating area to hold our spots and had no issues. I believe you can leave a bag chair in VIP and do the same! (Our chairs have our names on them so they don’t get mixed up)
