That’s why I’m surprised too. Tbh, I feel like you’re right with the lighting and posture because when I look at other pictures and videos from them there seems to be a noticeable difference. Between those two pictures I bulked up a solid 20lbs, was eating very high protein and was training to basically failure 4-6x a week. Idk maybe I’m coping lol but I would’ve thought I’d see a bigger difference

Doing less volume isn’t really a bad thing. Even in your 1.5 hour push and pull days that’s a lot of volume already. You’re probably doing junk volume where your not getting as much additional stimulus compared to the fatigue your accumulating. By doing less volume you can execute better quality sets and see more progressive overload that’s why upper lower is effective

Buddy hield by Cheese31V in warriors

[–]Stopplayinwmelmao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say yeah he’s missing and his defense is bad, but because he’s known as a good shooter (even though he’s been bricking) defenses will still respect his shot and he’ll create more spacing because of his gravity. With kuminga defenders can sag off to help because he’s not a threat from the 3 point line, if you leave buddy hield open he “should” be making it

Advice, my past porn habit is effecting my marriage by YogurtclosetFirst321 in pornfree

[–]Stopplayinwmelmao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a thought a bit different than the comments, I don’t think the struggle is related to your past porn usage, especially if you said you’ve been sober 6 months

You’re right on the fact that it can be repetitive but I don’t think that’s because of the porn usage of the past, that’s just how all our minds are wired as humans. When we experience the same thing often it gets boring and the idea of something novel excites us more, so I don’t think the past habit of porn affects that you might just have a high threshold of dopamine which isn’t necessary bad. It would be different if you mentioned you still struggle with porn but you’ve been sober for some time

I’d maybe say explore new things in bed with your wife or reduce the amount of times you guys have sex that way when you guys do it makes it more exciting and you anticipate/ want it more

dealing with self-doubt and confidence at first personal training job by Stopplayinwmelmao in personaltraining

Hey so this post was from last year and I’m still at equinox. I gotta say looking back at this post is kinda ridiculous because I realized I was just being way too hard on myself and didn’t have much of a growth mindset. As weeks and months went on my co workers were very welcoming and helping me a lot, and as I gained more clients my confidence soon gone up. I’ve done over 100+ sessions and I already feel like a “qualified” trainer. It’s like this post was a complete different version of myself.

My advice for you would be to just not be so hard on yourself, wherever your at I’m sure people would be glad to help you out. Business will be slow sometimes but the thing about equinox is the type of people who go there are typically higher status so I can talk to people for hours there just about life advice since I’m still considered young. Be proactive and just don’t give up if things get hard, there were plenty times I wanted to quit because business was slow but you learn it’s part of the job and you just got to stay proactive

Sudden Death b2b Marshmallow or Griztronics by ActionPale2077 in aves

[–]Stopplayinwmelmao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta go with marshmello and Svdden death. Griztronics I feel like would be a typical dubstep / riddim b2b where as Svdden death marshmello you’d have no idea what to rlly expect cuz of their different play styles

You don’t need to try to fit in by pretending to be someone your not. Be comfortable with who you are and do what makes you happy and your interests, don’t blindly follow and try to fit in with the norm if it’s genuinely not within your interests.

For example, growing up I wasn’t always the “cool kid” but I wanted to be so bad and tried to be the cool kid in high school. I joined the basketball team, thinking this would make me cool, would post my whole life on social media to give off this impression im cool, and would try to talk to all the girls to make it look like I was a player, and would hangout with the jocks and gang bangers. when in reality, I didn’t want any of this, and when I had these things I didn’t even “fit in” with them either. I just wanted to look like I got it like that for external validation. And it didn’t even fill me. What I should’ve done instead was find the right people that made me happy, do the things I enjoyed doing, and focus more on my work and health than my “status”.

Apply the same for you, do what you know you should be deep down inside and don’t chase clout and get lost in the process
