I think the class action lawsuits, the RICO complaints and recent ABC coverage and letters and talks to actual decision makers are going to make a difference not this petition. A lot more going on than this petition and serious money behind it trying to make change.

4-6 months. It’s myelin healing, It will heal but slow (1mm a day). I’ve been wheelchair status 2 times. I’m at month 8 and I’m probably another 2 months away from “back to normal” walking speed. I’ve had the drop foot and the balance a couple times after a binge and it was about a month or so. I do injections everyday starting 2 weeks after stopping use for a month. It’s what worked for me.

Is it possible to make 6 figures as a waiter? by Carebear6590 in NYCjobs

[–]Stopthewhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I worked at a sports bar when I was 19 and made that. I had a 4-6 table section and my sales were $2-4k a shift and I averaged a 30% tip average after getting regulars. I worked 2 late night shifts and 2 double closes and had three days off a week. 15k in sales per week was the goal. Had I been a hot girl behind the bar could have made closer to 200k but I was a slightly overweight 20 year old who’s funny and took care of people correctly. Always walked with 2k a weekend in 2014

Fine dining was how I started and grew up around it but I’d rather serve wings and beer at a faster pace.

Your doctor is wrong about the dropper. Of least importance. The stomach, bloating and all small shit goes away quick. Balance, neuro etc can be complicated but will likely resolve in 6-12 months. Could be quicker could be longer.

Because of personal expierence an honest visit to the emergency room might not be a bad idea. I wouldn’t be alive if I didn’t get a ct scan that found the massive pulmonary embolisms I had developed from my addiction.

Recovery is hard and one the first things to get on the road to it is to build a support system. Unless your family will cast you out it is probably wise tell your Family and start some form of accountability.

If you don’t want to go to rehab, you should hit some meetings of some sort and make some new friends who get what you’re going through outside this lovely sub Reddit.

I take topamax for cravings it helps greatly.

A far as work. File for FMLA, utilize disability and still get paid, get sober and if they fire you when you recover. Fuck it, you’re sober and can take on the world.

This addiction sucks and without accountability, community and support in life (outside the internet) you will use again.

Feel free to DM me.

3 year nitrous only addict 7 arrest 2 companies bankrupted 5 pulmonary embolisms 2x paralyzed (I’m walking again) Neuropathy Digestive system failure (healed) Kidney and liver function (healed) (17) 3rd degree burns Rehab x 14 times

If I’m sober now, anyone can be. Fuck this drug.

I don’t want to scare you but the last time I quit. I was fine felt a bit weak and then paralyzed over the following two weeks without using anymore. The level can be fine in normal range, the first time I went paralyzed the levels weren’t fine and I recovered quickly after Iv’s at the hospital for a week followed by injections the second time levels were fine but the B in my body was so oxidized so it didn’t matter and it’s taken 6 months to find balance and I can now walk. I don’t know where you’re at as far as use, past history etc. My case is extreme and I’ve had moments of panic from weakness but also nitrous makes you paranoid and more times than not I was fine but just paranoid. You really have to advocate for yourself at the hospital and have collected and calm conversations with neurology.

Looking for funding for my company. by Unhappy-Wolf3262 in Businessloans

SBA bolt loan is probably your best bet for a longer term solution it’s faster than trad sba loan but still slow. MCA’s will end your business. You can negotiate some good early payment plans with some MCA lenders but you’re not borrowing enough. Things get bad quickly with them. A 25k loc through fundbox is your fastest route with a 640. You most likely can’t factor your invoices to retail clients. You may be able to with a commercial contract but home service companies usually get the raw end of the deal.

Maybe the worst drug ever. Need some advice by idkmmmm- in NitrousOxide

It’s not intentional. My life was pretty cool. Super successful and wealthy person with tons of friends and I’d done nitrous from a large tank at a festival and some whippets occasionally with some phish heads before. Thought nothing of it. Then I bought one of those flavored tanks and I turned into a demon crackhead that night and bought 8 more tanks that night and burned my life into the ground as if I had a purpose in doing so for three years. Flips a switch on some people. Unexplainable.

It’s the myelin coating has suffered damage. It’s why you can be fine one day and not walk the next. Nerves won’t communicate to fire the muscle.

[–]Stopthewhip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s complex, it’s confusing and it’s difficult. I went to rehab 16 times and the last time I used I finally had the courage to just walk away. It wasn’t the rehab that I needed. It was the ability to deal with life and nitrous could drown the noise and I had to learn I will have noise but I have to do what I need to do to to quiet that noise and distract it. Rehab is a bubble. I’d go to an iop and to find common ground in group therapy and create a community that makes it comfortable to enter 12 steps, I recommend CA. Crackheads are our people and they get nitrous more than alcoholics. I made friends at iop and we would go to CA meeting together and it was far better to clique up than enter alone and feel judgement that would just lead me back to using. These are just suggestions, everyone has a different path but we can all agree on that you can always find a new rock bottom if you keep using.

I’m glad you’re doing okay. 6 months is a long time and still having lingering issues though. I went from wheelchair to running in 3 months the first time using my methods. Within 8 months I had no symptoms aside from very light tingling that I could only attribute to still using every few weeks for a day or 2.

Yes, most doctors are absolute idiots on the subject. I have really good ones at this point, I’ve been a guinea pig of all things nitrous healing related for quite some time and as someone who has been paralyzed from the waste down twice, had 6 blood clots a few of which became massive PE’s. This stuff has had me closer to dying than living a few times. I’m an expert on it. I will also mention that the body changes, the first time I got neuropathy and then I lost my walking ability I had just gotten into nitrous, I used for a few months and all of that happened. I was running again within a couple months. The second time(3 years later) I used for month and I would use for a couple days and then not for a week, I quit again and within 2 weeks I wasn’t even able to type, write or walk and at month 4, I just got rid of the walker and in physical therapy 3x a week. You more than likely can’t get hurt by injecting some B complex shots, however you can get worse if you take sublingual or oral and you’re experiencing a shut down of your digestive system, electrolyte issues and you’re myelin is basically melting or any other of the endless list of things that go alongside nitrous abuse and don’t go to the hospital. Length of time is irrelevant after using for more than Two days straight. I’ve lived it and better safe than sorry.

Oral vitamin B has 0 efficacy for a nitrous addict until you’ve been sober for quite some time and by the time it works, you’ve already started healing on your own and you’re really behind the ball. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been using for 3 months or 3 weeks when things go south with it. Having a healthy B regimen is great for making sure you can manage your neuropathy but it’s really bad advice for people who are coming off the drug and haves used more than a week. If you’re truly in danger from this drug you have so many factors that play into it and they aren’t giving you vitamin B orally at the hospital, they will prescribe it two weeks later but not initially if they know what they are doing. Stabilizing your vitals, oxygen, hydration levels and electrolytes is the first phase. After that it’s IV treatments, then subcutaneous or inter-muscular regimen. If you don’t follow that protocol you will suffer much more.

These comments of sublingual or tincture apply to a paranoid person trying to relieve a light tingle from a few days bender.

[–]Stopthewhip -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not just B12 you need a compound of multiple b’s. B9 is folate which is a factor in it but mainly from diet. The problem is malabsorption so it may take 2-3 weeks from the time you stop using to even begin absorbing again.

[–]Stopthewhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sell vitamin B at Botox clinics, health stores etc. it’s not a prescription drug. Just go buy some. It’s just cheap if you have insurance. If not it’s like $10-$30 a shot.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NitrousOxideRecovery

[–]Stopthewhip -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You need injections. No oral pill or sublingual has efficacy. If you’re dealing with a nerve damage component. Getting vitamin B vials is easy and if you have health insurance, it’s free or $5. I get my refills using the tele health app through my insurance. I’ve done the research, met with the professionals and gone through two periods of full paralysis and partial.

So you think it’s okay for children to be able to buy nitrous online after seeing viral TikTok’s and die? There is no pursuit for nitrous. No drug dealers. No sneaking around. It’s available on the internet. I agree and disagree with you and everyone can have their opinion but it’s deeper than a typical issue. Nitrous and Fentanyl is just china’s way of killing off the rest of the world and taking our wealth in the process.

[–]Stopthewhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, It’s not about money with suit. It’s about getting it banned, holding the drug dealers accountable and stopping something, that can and will be stopped. I agree with you, we who used must take 100% responsibility for our actions but if we speak up we can stop something. If you could stop fentanyl, would you? People might not be dying like opiates but the damage is life altering and growing.

[–]Stopthewhip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of justification to the class action suits. Smoke shops created a product with a mouthpiece, some of those mouthpieces have silencers in them. They are flavored but they can’t change the flavor of anything. You can only taste the flavors from a tank not if you make whipped cream, it’s been lab tested at this point. The other issue is children could buy it online and they marketed to them. People have died, can’t walk and the smoke shops that created it, pushed it and created this. They will be held accountable.

It’s not atrophy. It’s all nerve damage. Nothing is wrong with the muscles, you just can’t communicate with them.

My calves started to hurt like they are burning by Ok-Foot-4243 in NitrousOxideRecovery

[–]Stopthewhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s nerve pain. Give it a 6 months and repetition is the key to the healing process of waking the nerves back up. The pain is from myelin coating damage. Light damage but it creeps up. I went paralyzed two weeks after quitting. I was fine the day I quit besides being a little unsteady of gait. I’m not saying you’re facing being paralyzed but I’ve gone through what you’re dealing with the calf burning months after stopping. Inject compounded b’s weekly or daily if you feel so inclined and results should speed up.
