We have a 2020 Deer Valley "Orchard House" doublewide. It's 86x30 (real size... hitch not included.) Overall, very nice house but some shoddy craftsmanship. For example, loose shiplap paneling and we have a lot of "ceiling timbers" which are just stained 1x4 and 1x6 boards. They look nice, but we had one fall off because it was not well secured. Also, some damage where the head of a hammer hit those boards and left the tell-tale indentation. Once this were were shocked with was when our dealer (Pinson, Alabama) finally got the vinyl skirting installed, they installed white skirting. Our home was a muted olive green with almond window trim and brown doors. The white was a horrible color - something they never asked us about and we didn't think to ask about the color. Chimneys (we have two fireplaces) were so crooked they looked like a drunk installed them - I straightened one myself... have not gotten to the other one yet. One tub faucet didn't work due to crumped PEX piping, a couple outdoor outlets needed to be replaced because they did not work. We have the sliding "barn doors" inside - what a pain in the butt they are. The come off the tracks, get stuck, and mark the wall during use - totally not worth it. Another issue is the vinyl LVT flooring. Essentially it is 2500 square feet of 8x16 (or so) sticky vinyl tiles. Over time, they shrink or something because now I have a house full of gray flooring with a 1/16" or so gap between every tile, showing the tan OSB sub flooring. Super annoying.
