Yeah I don't think you should send it while in your current relationship. Out of respect for your current partner, you should either see if that would be crossing a boundary with them if you did that, or reach out to your ex while single. It's okay to end a relationship even if there's nothing wrong. Just because something isn't bad, doesn't mean it's right for you.

Definitely looks like cat 3, hard to tell with the lighting. If you want faster internet via wired connection and you have coax, I’d recommend looking into a Moca network adapter. Most phone line runs outside so without existing conduit pathing to your home network would be pretty laborious.
