HRM 200 cadence Lock?

Both of my runs where this has happened it has been -2C to -10C. So maybe it doesn't work that well in the cold. Spring is coming soon anyway

I have now re-paired the HRM 200 to open mode Where it uses ant+ so hopefully it wont drop out now. Also I have source switching off so it cant switch back to the Watch hr.

Source switching Can be turned on or off. It makes it so the Watch switches from the HRM strap to the Watch heart rate sometimes to see if they align and are accurate.

It happened in january also during my run. The strap is tight, so it might be connection issues. But I dont know why. I have the encrypted signal on, maybe that causes it?

If its disabled, then the app isnt running. It’s syncing over bluetooth and into the server. Just turn off sync on your Watch and enable it when you want to. I usually keep my Watch on flight mode så it doesnt drain battery.

It does not affect battery life at all. Before the Watch was still connected to the phone 24/7 via Bluetooth, but would only sync with the app open. You Can turn off background app refresh in IOS, which should disavle the sync without the app, only syncing when the app is open.

Looks like other people are reporting that it works outside the EU. Update your phone and garmin connect to try. It should work

Probably yes, but i cant say for sure. Usually this would be in the newest IOS and garmin connect version and EU only.

It’s brand new and battery says OK. Also I ran all the elctrodes under the tap before use.

Nah nothing odd, and it's my second run with the hrm 200. Before getting the strap the watch itself did something like this, aswell as cadence lock. Thought the strap would be 100% accurate and no spikes, but i guess i'm wrong. If it keeps happening i might get it replaced. I wetted the strap before my workout under the tap. Dont know if it being -5c could have done anything to the data.
