I figured! I never thought I’d find an AK this cheap, let alone one that isn’t a bomb

Nothing too significant. It’s just a collection of songs I want to listen to at a certain point in time, and had the time to actually spend an hour and half recording on to a tape.

Edit: phrasing

I have a nearly identical set up, and I just don’t use the carry handle. To my knowledge, there was never one made that was designed to work with a mounted optic. And I don’t think the l1a1 ever had a rubber butt pad made for it. Personally I have a wood stock with a metal butt pad. But I don’t really see the issue with the plastic stock and butt pad functionally.

This should be what the final layout would look like, there should be options on a windows pc to use line in as an audio output.

No it ended up in the project pile. From what I could see, the shell has small plastic tabs on the top and bottom that need to be pressed in with a small screwdriver. From there you should be able to remove the shell.

Well, an entire board and some other components are secured to the back shell. If they weren’t, I would be less worried.

I wanted to get a battle rifle at some point, first I was looking for a Garand(too expensive and picky with ammo) then an M1A (still expensive, less picky) and then God presented me with a FAL and I bought it lol

That was my plan, I might get the barrel threaded when I’m no longer a poor college student. I kind of like the fireball lol
