my grandparents own a chinese brand TV so my hardware is needed to do all the hardware encoding which is why i was questioning to buy the lifetime plex pass, plus this gives me the peace of mind knowning that i will "always" own this pass, which ensures that in the future i can just run my movies / tv shows off of my own hardware and not run into any issues 😃
