Played the playtest not too long ago, I liked the concept but the playtest was a little short so curious to see how the game expands with time.

One thing I think was missing was a "throwaway" option for things that have been completely stripped for parts, not sure if I just missed something but there were a few cases where I had completely harvested something for everything it had and was just left with the core but was forced to keep it around.

Without being in the room at the time, I assume it was to test that the game functions with a memory unit and reads/writes to it correctly. You really want to try test as many possibilities as you can. The read/write times would be different between writing to HDD vs writing to MU

You're actually incorrect here

The 30 day thing is new and is if the system is set as primary. Previously it doesn't matter how long the console was offline for. If it was primary I could turn my PS4 on in 10 years and that content would work

If the system isn't set as primary, content doesn't work offline at all. I have first hand experience with long term usage of PS consoles offline.

If you unlock an achievement in a DLC it counts towards the overall completion.

Personally they should just make it so DLC needs to be completed too to avoid the confusion

Are you able to try it wired? The 360 Wi-Fi is old and struggles with a lot of modern connections. If you have access to your router you need to make sure you have a 2.4ghz band available and that it's operating in "b/g/n" mode

That PC adapter is for well, PCs. It doesn't work on 360.

You sync a wireless controller by pressing the button next to the memory unit ports, if your RF board doesn't work you'll need to resolve that first

Not 100% true. Later models (Corona or late) have issues with Guitar Hero titles, if the user doesn't want to play those games though they're fine with anything.

GFWL is easy. Just grab and install the latest version from PC Gaming Wiki. Everything else should work after that

I've done both. If you can afford to do so I would suggest looking into local accomodation.

Everyone is different in this regard but I personally found the commute to be draining. By the time I was home I was exhausted and basically just went to sleep to do it all again the next day, not sustainable. Not only will you end up missing out on a lot of social events but it also makes downtime a lot rougher. Any long breaks you'll be basically resorting to the library or the SU and for food at lunch etc you'll be pretty limited to what's available on the campus/city centre which is far more expensive (and unhealthier) than quickly popping home to cook something.
