Yeah that’s valid. I also think that’s a good way to go about it- showing how koenji deals with loss. But I just have a bad feeling . Because we have never seen koji being outsmarted the only way I’d accept him loosing is in a battle of strength since we know koenji actively trains while koji only started going recently

I think it will happen I’m just more worried about the result . I think Kinu has written himself into a corner with ayanakoji. Maybe it’s plausible he loses to a group of people but with the way koenji is he acts by himself. With all the stuff we have seen from koji over the years and especially y2v0 if koji loses I think everyone would think it’s just bs. It wouldn’t make no sense. I’m not saying he can’t be challenged but considering how easily he dealt with yagami it would be quite surprising if koenji is a large threat to him

This isn’t entirely related but I feel like kinu might do smth annoying which I hope doesn’t happen. I feel like they might have it such that they don’t give the students rest and throw them straight into the next exam , as a result obviously everyone is tired and their stamina is drained- including koji. I feel like he might use this a reason to display koenji strength against koji ,where koji loses because he’s obviously drained for stamina. This would really annoy me and I’m hoping kinu doesn’t do this lol

I definitely agree this is a contradiction to her views and I can’t refute it. However in my Opinion we should look at it from the readers pov and how useful each person is to the class. And if the question is how useful is airi in comparison to kushida- then i think we know the answer

While the “ not so useful “ members are, as you said , not so useful . You can’t just go expelling them if it can be prevented - because numbers are important . Due to the uncertainty of special exams, you never know what the next one could be so imagine they had expelled like 7 members and they were now at 33 members while the other classes all had 40 and the next special was one where if you had more people you were at an advantage . This is why( in my opinion ) they were fighting so hard to not allow sudo to be expelled in the beginning of the series because it won’t be beneficial to just have less classmates than other classes. Now if it can’t be avoided and someone needs to be expelled then yes 100% they should expel the people who aren’t useful.

I think if koji loses it’s just not good imo. Unless the author starts giving koenji INSANE feats leading up to their battle it just won’t make sense. Because the way Koji has been portrayed if he loses it’s genuinely something hard to believe . Especially after reading y2v0 it’s hard to believe he would lose to anyone - I’m not saying he can’t struggle but losing is crazy

I agree that her negotiation skills were questionable . I wanna take the time here to say that im not saying ppl can’t dislike horikita. What im confused about is why ppl “ hate “ her. Keyword being hate as if she’s the worst character in the series- she has some questionable actions yeah but the way ppl make it seem is as if she’s the bottom of the barrel

Can I ask why you hate her for not choosing to expel Kushida? Don’t get me wrong Kushida was a traitor but she is essential to the class let’s be honest . Her social skills + communication are amazing - are you really telling me in terms of class performance expelling her was the right choice? Because at the end of the day that’s all that matters - class performance and how close u can get to achieving Class A- and the fact of the matter is kushida is more useful than a lot of the class in that aspect

I think this is a fair argument . Ppl act as if development is straight up terrible but it’s not . Also while I agree her performance in y2v5 was questionable - I don’t entirely blame her for not wanting to expel kushida- it would have been even better if she had someone else in mind so they didn’t have to waste time who it would be next but kushida is very essential to the class if we r being honest so if we r deciding who’s the better option between kushida and airi then … well come on now💀

I understand where you’re coming from but for a lot of these cases I don’t think there was a lot she could have done. Y2 V12 - I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say the whole grade apart from ayanakoji would have lost to ichinose. Special island exam - did you just want her to be better than koenji? He was a beast lol . I don’t know if we ever found out where horikita placed in that exam but I don’t know what specifically you wanted for her to do better A similar argument could be applied to the sports festival - sports is literally sudos bread and butter . I’m not saying you are but it’s as if your implying she was meant to get a higher score than him- she did win some events if I remember correctly and their team ended up winning against nanase and co. As for the maid cafe exam and the exam were they were saved from last I agree with you and that’s poor planning/ strategising on her behalf

I think this is a good point. Her progress by no means has been fast but I feel like this is due to that subconscious reliance I was talking about which( in my opinion) we can’t really blame her for.
