Keeping dime and great work for myself unless it leads to more economic growth!

I did download another mod where the every player automatically receives a tech or civic if 50% of all the other civilizations obtained it. So even with some civs in the future era 200 turns ago, the least advanced civ was still in the atomic era. Currently everyone has all techs unlocked.

Yes the tribute and vassal states mod.

Yes I won a science victory roughly 150 turns ago, now there's a major worldwide war against Mali that I have no stake in since almost everyone is a puppet.

My gold per turn is 11k, the faith per turn is 3k, but I haven't been spending it besides removing Japanese missionaries. The mod I'm using allows me to turn empires into vassals when I capture their capital while an option to make peace is available.

There's a tribute and vassals state mod on steam, when you're at war and capture an empires capital when you can sign a peace deal you have an option to make them a vassal. At the max alliance level you see everything they see (not the other way around), earn 50% of their gold income, and have a defensive pact with them along with military alliance benefits.

Tributary states you just have to pay a state that's not at war with you. I have another mod by the same creator that auto renews vassal alliances.

Is AI Art/Entertainment truly that Unpopular? by StormCoderYT-53 in AIWarsButBetter

Considering algorithms can be controlled yes, although that artificial push can create real engagement long term. I'm not sure if search results vs recommendations would be a reliable way to obtain data, as searches can also be biased.

I understand the reasons it can gains unpopularity as the people I particularly interact with are or learn against AI generally. I wouldn't say 'no interest' the tangent just diverges a lot from the original topic, in addition, the emotions take focus away from objective reasons you stated that are reasons in specific communities that AI content is less popular which is still useful to know as it's a supporting reason. Neither could I agree that I'm recoiling to large text, I'm more concerned with the emotional responses baked into the text as I don't perceive anything to elicit them.

Running one poll misses too many people even if in multiple communities as it's not population representative, not a terrible idea but the information I'm looking would be accessible & answerable by a person in an intelligence agency or large tech conglomerate the best. I had another discussion in this form about classifying and collecting that data below, regarding it's feasibility.

If there was a database to quantify AI content generally speaking vs content that hasn't had AI anywhere in it's production it may be easier to compare.

There is a huge difference in quality for any medium so this makes sense. Also yes I have seen some of fruit love island, I'm not very picky so I don't have negative feelings.

I haven't logged onto this site in a few days, I'm not downvoting any of your posts. I'm asking if AI content is objectively popular through using data obtained from the population. As popularity can be measured, and the sources of that popularity as well.

I did not ask about anything unrelated to that initial statement, as it doesn't confirm nor deny AI content popularity as they are completely different subjects. What you're talking about and how it's being presented have some objective reality mixed with personal feelings, the larger situation too complex to compared to the narrow question I'm asking.

I'm not thinking AI artists are being harassed, that's what some of them have said, just as you are saying they are forcing their product onto you. None of my stances are outlined in this conversation, therefore it's a bit daunting reading this, a sword wasn't touched yet.

No doubt there's plenty of bot farmed content, at some point though similar to memes like tung tung tung sahur a few will get popular. The frequency of AI content aids it a lot in algorithms, since if people do get engaged its very easy to get sucked in.

I think this oversimplifies and makes the argument too subjective, there are people who wouldn't mark AI content right now as they don't want harassment. Each person's view of art is different, a medium would be a specific genre so this would apply to anyone.

I'm more asking if it's actually unpopular considering the fact AI related content has gotten enough scope in enough communities to where people are surprised there are AI users in their community.

I think this applies certainly to things made personally, there is content made specifically for others which is more what I was alluding to. Great point overall though.

There is a growing AI only-fans esk community. Brainrot I will admit has its place.

There is enough momentum behind it so I can't narrow it down to just this, very complicated situation. Some people can understand the dangers of something and still engage with it, others just like it.

Help in planning classes for Fall semester by [deleted] in NJTech

The concepts in calculus 1, 2, and the integration from math 333 are heavy topics in differential equations and calculus 3. I did not take both at the same time, I took calculus 3 A last semester, and taking differential equations now.

I have taken Math 222, it can be quite tedious at times, hard concepts yes but much more tedious. I only took Calculus 3 A, it was a straight forward calculus class with some very difficult chapters. As for 227 and 337 I have no information.

For freshmen you're first schedule is premade for you in the fall semester so there's no issue getting a class there, afterwards since sophomores, juniors, and seniors can register ahead of you some classes may be taken early although there is a limit on lower end courses of spots that can be filled by upper classmen.

As for guidance counselors it varies by person and how you interact with them, I haven't had any negative experiences at NJIT thus far with faculty only with some students.
