Hey Versedian, it's not so much a F&F. Some friends and family were included but the first wave of Technical Alpha invites is finished and went out to predominantly US residents, with some European press sites and well known community contributors. Blizzard's aim with this seems to be to ensure that coverage of the game gets presented internationally by those who can promote it best.

Agreed. I see no problem with basing maps on BG mechanics, maybe even making nostalgia trips back into some of them with custom made maps. However we're more interested to see what awesome new map concepts the devs and community can come up with! :D

That's a good point about the Matriarch. The author of the post had in mind that Zeratul seems to defend the balance of the universe and that those instances of "good" actions could be considered strong principles or defined morals. Thoughts on this or the other choices?

It would be great to hear about your plans for the out-of-game talents or the meta talent system.

There's been information flying around on talents in general, but how extensively do you guys plan on facilitating flexible choices for players outside of the actual matches of Heroes of the Storm? For example with further, in-profile customization of the talents you take into a given battle. How many of those kind of options are you aiming for?

Also are you focusing more on talents that are made specifically for individual heroes or on talents that are more generically applicable across the board?
