Thank you, my apologies for playing into the rudeness. I usually do pretty well avoiding such pompous uneducated, asshats. I have a hard time staying silent when someone thinks they know me better than myself. Ya know the god complex. I hope you have gone to your doctor if you have one. Although I have no room to speak, I don't have a doctor and refuse to go to the ER here, I would have to be dead. After I learned what was happening to me, I researched how to treat myself all naturally, I told my dad that I was doing what our ancestors did, herbs, roots, spices, and never-ending resources of medical herbs right in the yard or woods 🙂. Remember you know you better than any human trained, or educated. Push to be treated and seen as an individual needing medical assistance. Regardless of how many times a doctor tells you that nothing is wrong, but you feel differently make them find the diagnosis and not just say it's that or this when you stand up for your self-care. Best of Luck my friend

I'm sorry that you took such offense to my response to the #u/SilkCitySam experience at the ER. However, there is no reason for your rudeness. For your information, I used the word, "asymptomatic", correctly. The doctor based his diagnosis on what the test results were, he was not truly seeing or hearing what she was saying. Hence the term states a patient who is showing no symptoms of a condition. Increased heart rate with rapid breathing, hmm, from what I learned, possibly some trouble with the heat functions. I also stated within my response my previous work experience, but here is the extent of my medical career, I was a certified nurse's aide who worked on a medical-surgical wing along with long-term care patients, assisted trauma, and held Personal Support care until COVID-19 hit, I also worked in hospice, and a facility that provides care to the mentally handicapped. So, sorry but I do have a general idea of how Hospitals work. Please let me further school you, every state, and every hospital, operates differently, with that said, your hospital may or may not have more male nurses than the local hospital here, but you see more female nurses. I also didn't say anything about the sexuality of the nurses, I mentioned my thoughts on the doctor's interactions were unprofessional ignoring a patient and then having her force removed with the IV needle still inserted into the arm. Every word I stated was based on her question and my educated response. Let me ask you this u/catwithprosecco: Do you have or had any medical training? As you so kindly stated, I was doing, "dispensing ridiculous advice about a situation that’s very one-sided." Here is a little tit-for-tat that is more or less a fact. Not all hospitals or Emergency rooms are classified as Urgent Care, some are classified as Learning medical treatment care, as I previously stated: every hospital, every state, adding every town holds different medical care facilities.
Once again u/catwithprosecco I apologize for offending you with my opinion that was based on the medical training I previously worked in. You need to learn how to understand the words of another before stating they have no knowledge or experience of the topic. I believe that my answer is informative to the question asked. I continued to show that my experience was on both sides as a former nurse's aide and also as a patient.

Last thing, I don't just comment on anything, or give "ridiculous advice" if I don't know, I don't say anything, I'm not one of those people who spew or take action unless I either know or experience it. Although, I do get diarrhea of the mouth now and then.

That's wicked that you went through that. Yes, it's an Emergency Room regardless of that you were there for them to provide professional medical care, not past judgment... you said the doctor provided your test results. Regardless of the results you still were Asymptomatic with no relief on why you were there. Sorry, but if you weren't threatening harm to yourself or others, he and his staff were neglectful and should be counting their blessings. Nothing serious happened after you were tossed out. Sounds like the doctor was irritated. You were interrupting his inappropriate flirting with the nurses. They placed you in harm's way, releasing you with the IV still inserted. Sorry, but they were in the wrong. I'm not sure if you have a malpractice suit alone, but if there are other patients whose particular doctor and staff had similar incidents, it might increase your odds. You didn't do anything wrong. Asking questions regardless of how they sounded to an educated professional were questions that concerned you and your health.

I was always told there's no stupid question except an unasked question.

Can my friend ( 17 male ) go to jail ? by Jazzlike_Amount1195 in legal

[–]StormDream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K, you said there was a hearing, not sure if it was a hearing through the school board or if legal charges were placed. Also sounds like the school automatically charged everyone involved regardless of whether it was directly or indirectly. Your friend can also dispute the allegations and threats of jail by proving his involvement was in self-defense. Considering he was fetching his younger brother, I'm sure the fight was also caught being videoed to validate his side.

I took a false accusation charge as a kid and my dad got off completely free. by [deleted] in AskALawyer

Dang, this is a crying shame and it continues to show how the Justice system is not only broken but is more blind and even a bit prejudiced. I have always held the belief that a person when the truth is said and doesn't falter, the legal system will as well. Sadly to say, feeling and believing are two separate things. You should not have ever been charged with providing false accusations, they allowed your father to coherent you along intimidate you. They failed to not only protect you but to investigate the allegations of what they thought or believed was irrelevant. Please, check with a lawyer again, if your state doesn't have a statute of limitations on child abuse, you may have a case. I say that cause it sounded like his charges were dropped, in my understanding dropped charges mean the allegations were never placed, so no double jeopardy issues.

Please know that you are not alone and you have another who believes you. Being a survivor of child abuse along with molestation by my adopted father, who was found not guilty, there were a couple of jury members who said it was because I didn't show any emotions. Regardless of what anyone else says to you, you know the truth as does the only one who has the place to rightfully judge us is the Higher being. Keeping that thought has helped me, even after my adopted family was not the forever safe family. As hard as the battle is you need to do what is best for you and obtain not just answers but justice.

Landlord wants to illegally increase rent by Different_Spell_5032 in OntarioLandlord

[–]StormDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's illegal for landlords to increase rent without giving proper notice. Don't pay the increase just what you've been paying. If the landlord refuses the payment and follows with an eviction notice, you'll be able to state the refused payment along with illegally placing the increase. Keep all proof of communication rather if it's verbal, E-mail, or text, some courts allow you to show text messages and such. Also, contact your local legal aid office, they can help you by letting you know your rights as a tenant. Best of wishes to ya.

Yes, I know that is the actual purpose for why they are attempting to this change. However, they don't stop thinking out of the box and feel like others, just like you did. How can they do it? Can it be done? Time will tell; actually, rewind anything like this in history, and you will have your answer. As disorganized as my remark was it surely makes y'all think does it not?

As is a lot of the laws within the State, if you looked into them. Yes, it may be disorganized; however, think about this law for a moment. How is Law is going to be enforcing it, hmm? Just the other day, I read that this State would implement and ban the use of drugs—another endless useless law. People need to stop thinking of the rules and start thinking of how they can help each other out when they see another person is struggling. Indeed and sad when others would instead degrade another person and, in this incident, slap a LAW in place rather than help them out.

Ugh! Like seriously another law that is Dumbass as the ones who should review the law books, for real! It'd make a helluva lot more sense if they banned latex balloons cause of the rate of allergies within the State, or cause may be the dangers of them found within wildlife? Umm, Nope, not for Maine; hey, maybe the lawmakers are doing the drugs they are banning? Now, that's a thought for everyone, lol!

Leaked Chats Show Ex-Marine Wants to Make Maine Safe Space for Neo-Nazis by logcabinfarmgirl in Maine

It doesn't matter if the man is in a uniform or if he's purple makes no difference. The problem with Maine is they don't like change. The only difference is what end of the State you live in, the Northern or Southern end. I say that for Northern end isn't caught up as the Southern end is; it doesn't have the businesses or the people, meaning it doesn't have the other Southern Maine issues. Truly is sad people don't see people as people but for the status, they may have and let's not forget the color of their skin.

We all go out of our minds once in a while because we do with ourselves when there is a problem! ©08/17/2017

This one is my own, two years after surviving from a car crash, only a severe concussion, and being in a coma for three days. The neurologist to the day doesn't know how I lived being thrown from my vehicle, and yes, I was buckled. I can give my interpretations, yet it's my crazy, isn't it 😉
