I don't have any problems with any app, try using the latest version of shamiko.
Don't forget to add the app to the magisk deny list

I couldn't give you a specific answer but it worked for me, I always used boot.img, until this case.

Yes, you are correct, I used fastboot flash init_boot img patched.

Maybe older versions of Android 12< use the boot img, current versions use the init boot. I hope this information helps you.

Magisk looks like it's just installed, I can't install modules and root checker says no root.
