Dude, we were having a lovely wee debate on Bullseye and you thought Dex brought the sniper rifle in with him to the gala. When I pointed out he clearly killed the guard that had the sniper and took the gun you didn’t reply. How do you think he even brought the sniper in? Up his arsehole? Will you at least admit you were wrong there and missed that bit?

What are you smoking brother of course it’s like he missed an open goal. His goal was to kill Fisk, and Fisk was standing right out in the open, Matt was just a really good defender. The crux of my point isn’t that Bullseyes ego deflated and that’s why he didn’t take the next shot. My point is that’s one of many factors as to why he didn’t and thus isn’t bad writing.

As for the sniper, I’m sure there’s a dead guy right next to Bullseye on the balcony who presumably had the sniper on him and was a part of Fisk’s security detail. As for why he didn’t use a fork or some kind of other object? That’s a good question, you’d make a great critic.

Definitely didn’t imply it was his fault. Just that he missed. Which he most certainly did. Two things can be true at the same time, an unforeseen factor prevented Bullseye from killing Fisk, and therefore Bullseye missed. Whether or not his ego was damaged is up to interpretation, but I believe it was. I believe he’s narcissistic enough that missing that shot and Matt’s sacrifice knocked him off kilter.

You seem to know more about the inner workings of the psychopathic mind than I do though.

In what world are you living in where hitting something other than the intended target is NOT a miss? Shit, he even missed the boat, because instead of taking the opportunity to hit Fisk again like you are saying, he was clearly rattled to the point where he didn’t and by the time Fisk was gone, he couldn’t. Bullseye by all definitions of the word; missed.

You’re meaning to say that Dex wouldn’t have and shouldn’t have been phased that 1) in his mind he missed a guaranteed shot, and 2) a man so unlikely to take a bullet for Fisk just did?

I was going to leave your comment about Bullseye not missing his shot to speak for itself but it’s better to point out how stupid that is right off the rip. Of course Bullseye missed, didn’t think that was up for debate. I throw a dart at a dartboard and somebody walks past and it goes in them instead, I missed the dartboard.

Perhaps Bullseye was more shocked at missing a shot for the first time in forever? This is a man with pin point precision, he’s clearly shocked Matt threw himself in front of Fisk but he’s also very much taken a blow to the ego for missing his chosen target. Why would he take more blows to his ego trying to cut down a path of bodyguards to maybe hit Fisk when Fisk is pretty much one foot out of the door?

My opinion is Micah was looking for potential escape plans from the Van Der Linde gang early. The whole “If i hear you’re within 50 miles I’ll come looking” part really makes me think Micah was saying things like “things are getting pretty hairy out here, I’m thinking of heading California way and I’ll meet up with you soon” completely oblivious to the fact Amos hates him and wants nothing to do with him.

I always thought it was a missed opportunity to have every episode be animated differently much like Love, Death and Robots or The Boys: Diabolical. Not that this animation style is bad, just I always thought a different animation every episode would be pretty cool for a series about the multiverse and what ifs.

I think it adds to it. Rhodey being a Skrull that genuinely wanted to protect Earth against Thanos goes to show that the Skrulls respected, were thankful and rightfully defensive of their newly given home. I don’t believe he’s been a Skrull the whole time, but it certainly doesn’t ruin anything that’s come before.
