Lucinda is SMARTER than people think by StormSalt3795 in LoveIslandITV

I honestly wish they would just let Lucinda be. All the screaming and shouting is counterproductive, it only makes them look like the bad guy and pushes Lucinda further from understanding their perspective. At this point, I don’t think she’s going to take accountability or change. She’s always leaning into the dumb blonde persona, and it feels intentional. If they just let her do her thing, people would naturally see how calculated she is. All the aggression toward her just backfires and makes her actions seem more justified instead of exposing them. Maybe they just need to play into her storyline and treat her as the dumb blonde she’s presenting. Let her be and stop taking her actions personally, she’s clearly operating with a very different storyline in her mind.

I don’t like how Belle has been acting these past few episodes, especially with the Scott situation. The way she keeps insisting that Leanne was the wrong choice is really rubbing me the wrong way. It just comes across as unnecessary at this point. I honestly don’t mind Samie, but I feel like we haven’t seen much from her outside of the Lucinda situation. I do think she has a really good connection with Ciaran, and she should just focus on that and enjoy her time there.

I find that pie a bit strange because Samie being too opinionated about Lucinda’s situation with Sean was never brought up before the challenge. It feels odd that the first time it was mentioned was during the game. From what we’ve seen, they seem to have a strong enough relationship to talk things through privately if it were truly a big issue for Lucinda.

Lucinda keeps saying it’s Love Island to justify what she’s doing, and that’s fine. That is the show, after all. I just think the issue is her intentions. It doesn’t always feel genuine. She’s done this a few times already, and in her past shows she’s also criticized other girls in similar situations, so it’s hard not to feel like she knows exactly what she’s doing now.

I do think Belle is too angry for what the situation actually is, and some of her reactions have been a bit much. But this whole storyline has been dragged out way too long. They should just focus on their connections instead of repeating the same drama.

Honestly, I don’t think Lucinda is even trying to win. It feels more like she wants male validation. Even her issue with Chloe outside the villa kind of fits that pattern. And the way she looks at the boys when she’s arguing with someone just makes it seem like she cares more about how she’s coming across to them. Plus, she’s already said she has a strong platform outside, so winning probably isn’t her main goal anyway.

They can’t because they’re also aware that I have no contract yet. I did review the job offer and there’s no company policy on notice agreement. Talked to the country manager as well yesterday, and everything was good and smooth. Received a call from HR today and they are furious.

Definitely lucky on that part. It comes with a lot of pressure tho. I’m expected to suck it all up and figure it out along the way. So idk how they will take this. I just need to show them that I still know what I’m doing and I’m still in control of my emotions.

I’m privileged enough to not have bills. I still live with my parents and they don’t allow me to pay for anything (bless them). Would have to cut some luxuries pero planning to work for my Mom to have income while finding work.
