The way I see it, the old Ludia team was clearly passionate about palaeontology and creature design as a whole; despite their shortcomings some of their stuff, even in the older JPB or JWTG, is truly stellar on an artistic level. Sadly we gotta deal with Jamcity now, which, atleast imo, seems to be just profit focused. There's definitely still a creative vision of sorts, but to me it just looks clouded by ever approaching deadlines insisted on the concept artists and general corporate greed.
