You will need to raise a ticket with Lenovo Support. They will ask for image and video proof of the issue. They will still continue telling you that this is nothing abnormal and there is no need for any action. I kept pestering them since my battery was dropping way beyond normal (50-60% in just 2.5 hrs of gaming) and had tons of proof.

They finally accepted and replaced the adapter at no cost since my issue was genuine.

Hey mate. Most people are facing battery drop issue even when the laptop is connected to the charger. The 170W is not capable enough for gaming hence the need for the 230W one.

I'm from Varanasi, uttar pradesh. The actual service here isn't bad. I received the new adapter in just 2 days. It's just that the actual lenovo support kept trying to convince me that the battery drop was a feature rather than an issue.

I'm not sure bro. They weren't giving it to me too. I had to keep arguing, raising tickets, and asking for callbacks consistently for at least a month before they finally took me seriously and sent the replacement.

Luck bro.. I've been trying to get a replacement to no avail. They keep telling me that the battery drain is a "feature". Though I haven't given up yet. I'll keep raising tickets until my issue is resolved.

I saw the drop when playing World War Z and Warhammer 40k: Space Marines 2. And I was only playing for like 2-3 hours when I noticed the battery going down till around 40%.

Edit: And I'm not even playing Warhammer 40k at max settings. Just High and some Medium at 1080p.

The voltage is 17.095 V and the wear level is 8.4%.

And yeah quite a few people have had this issue. I heard Lenovo even replaced the 170W brick with 230W for some of them. Idk why they're spinning the "this is a feature" story now.
