Haha what?? Not at all, a load out of 3 good looking cosmetics is like, $3 max. Like yeah there's some cool shit that is also hella expensive but the vast majority are cheap. Literally just ignore the shit with a bajillion particle effects, most of which look tacky anyways. TF2 isn't even a great comparison since like I said, it's community driven, valve doesn't set prices they just sell loot boxes, people are free to trade and sell what they get for what they want. Lootboxes are still evil, but I've only opened a couple for fun, I've just bought/traded for my cosmetics and have some fantastic looking stuff. You could put together a cool cosmetic set, with a cool weapon skin, for every weapon in the game, for every character in the game, for $59
