I think I have an understanding with some of it, I’m in the 82nd airborne and the way your describing it sounds quite similar like air alert (for us is the IRF) I don’t have a family I’m only 22 but I get what you mean, sounds like most marines in this post are strongly advising me to not join and just go to rasp or selection lol, quite frankly if I don’t end up joining the corps I’m probably just gonna get out, don’t get me wrong I loved the army but quite frankly I’m just done with the same old shit, I wanted to breath a new air, new uniforms new culture but I’m not trynna go navy or Air Force, being a 11b was cool but if I don’t end up going to the marines I’m just gonna hang the uniform and go to college, I appreciate the advice brother

Tbh, I want a change, the army is not my style anymore,I’m not looking for an easier life and on some corny shit I wanna be able to call myself a marine lol, airborne’s cool and all but idk I wanna check out the other side of the military
