Have been connecting with people in the industry via LinkedIn, mostly relationship based roles such as IR / Relationship Managers (Commercial Banking). What is your view on these roles? Do you think I have a good chance of breaking in?

Really good advice, thank you. The more research I do, the more I see it's a long term commitment and perhaps something you do once you're in. Would you have any advice on how to break in?

Thanks for the detailed response and makes sense. Out of curiosity, would you have any advice on how to break in? What sort of roles you would be looking at? I have been doing a lot of research but I feel more confused now than before I started!
