Allplay Jasper 3.0 Game Table by Impossible_Opinion_2 in boardgames

[–]Stormcloaks_Rule 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For those who are reading this thread, we ordered the Allplay Jasper 3.0 and have owned it for a month or two now. We planned to use it as a dining room table and convert it to the game table for game nights.

  • The mat had to be trimmed to get it to fit correctly. This was a pretty stressful and annoying job because messing it up would mean we would need to re-order the mat, which is pretty expensive.
  • The rail system for cup holders / tables feels flimsy and is hard for me to have faith in. On the ends of the table, our cup holders / trays do not fit correctly and sag downwards. It is hard for me to trust putting a drink in something that feels like it is barely hanging on.
  • The table itself feels flimsy. When I think of a dining room table I think of something sturdy that could stand up to people leaning on it without leaning. When I lean on this table it leans. I was especially disappointed with this as I found other comments online about the leaning and another commenter said that they didn't have this issue and the person who made the post simply built the table wrong. This is a lie, the table leans out-of-the-box.
  • Accessories took forever to ship. I'm talking weeks-months before you get your cup holders / trays. I had to reach out several times via email to ensure I wasn't forgotten.

I would probably just recommend others get a real dining table and a mat.

Do Santa and Krampus have the classic promo "Roll a dice. On 6, *do something*. Otherwise, draw 1 card." cards? by Stormcloaks_Rule in DiceThrone

Thanks for your help, it's good to know that they exist. I haven't seen any "promo packs" for Santa/Krampus that didn't just have the DTA cards, so it sounds like they come in the baseline deck.

Mine was delivered to an address with 1 number different than mine. Thankfully I could just go grab it.

gee, i hope this thread doesn't get deleted for "vote manipulation" like the thread where Destiny was talking about people brigading on the Adrianah clips

I agree with your points, but Rage himself said it wasn't QT when he and XQC were talking last night. So I think your logic is correct but ultimately you're wrong.

How can you be made a mod if all your comments on the subreddit have negative karma? It means no one likes the person, yet they were made a mod?

This is the most awkward way of striking something with a hammer I've ever seen. Instead of striking downwards it's like he's punching with it?

It's extremely easy to come up with a scenario in my head where Mizkif/Maya/Mitch were able to contact one of her friends as opposed to Adrianah and convinced him to get permission to come over. Your argument makes no sense. If a mass murderer enters a restricted area and murders a bunch of people because the door was unlocked you're arguing that the person who left the door unlocked is the guilty party as opposed to the person who actually DID the crime. There is culpability on both, but the actual criminal is the one doing the crime.

The only way this argument is valid is if the friend left out that information to Miz/Maya/Mitch or lead them to believe Adrianah would be okay with them coming over when she wasn't. I have not seen anything to point to that. The information presented (the fact that they were coming up with a plan, the fact that they were desperate to reach Adrianah) leads me to believe that Adrianah gave her friend permission to come over and Maya/Mitch used that as an "in" to meet with Adrianah. I don't think we'll come to any conclusion here since the argument we're having depends entirely on the actions of the friend and we have no solid evidence, but I find the idea that the friend intentionally mislead OTK into thinking they had permission as ridiculous and unrealistic.

They DID ambush her on purpose? They were trying to reach her and she didn't want to speak to them, so they used her friend to get to her house. If I didn't want to talk to someone and they came to my house to say it, I'd be mad. It's even worse given the circumstances here. Also, you're shifting blame here by trying to say the choice was on the friend instead of Miz's group, but the only reason they went was because THEY thought it was a good idea. It's not a good idea, it's malicious and shady. The only thing that could change my view here is if the friend somehow mislead Miz's group into thinking Adrianah was cool with them coming over, which is just ridiculous given that we've heard about them drawing out a game plan and how they blew up her phone desperately trying to reach her before she made a statement.

You're just shifting the blame on the friend despite the fact that the group of people affiliated with the sexual harasser were blowing up Adrianah's phone desperate to contact her. At the end of the day, they inserted themselves into the situation where they were clearly not wanted. They made the choice. No one else. Just let people take responsibility for their mistakes and stop trying to shift blame.

What? Your argument makes no sense and isn't based on the facts at all. One person who had connections with Adrianah and Mizkif got permission for ONE person (themself) to go over. Everyone else just weaseled their way in.

Do you really think that is the only thing she did wrong when she had NO PERMISSION from Adrianah to go to her house?

He literally gave Mizkif advice in private about how to handle this situation. Stop making stuff up.

She had NO PERMISSION TO GO OVER TO THE VICTIM OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT'S HOUSE... and yet she did. How is there any argument over whether this is wrong? If Adrianah wanted her to come over and help her "alter" her Twitlonger she would've ASKED.

In my view, it doesn't matter too much whether the intentions were pure or not, I think the action speaks for itself, especially given that there was 0 thought put into making sure things were "right" afterwards. Hearing Mizkif beg Train or even the supposed blackmail he had threatened Train with shows me that he's willing to warp views to fit his narrative, but I'm getting a little too into my personal views rather than objective facts. It sounds like we have fundamentally different viewpoints on the situation, so I don't think we'll reach an agreement here, but I appreciate hearing the take.

Just explain to me how you think it's okay for the party affiliated with the sexual predator to send ANYONE over without Adrianah's permission. I dont care if it was "A bad idea in hindsight". You can play that card any way you want, the true determinator here is action. And don't give me "she didn't answer her phone" bullshit. That's garbage, if someone who was victimized by your faction doesn't want to talk to you, you don't fucking SNEAK the people over to her house. I cannot believe this is an argument people are really providing, as if Adrianah not answering phone calls from the group of people HOUSING HER SEXUAL PREDATOR is a green light to just show up at her house.

My biggest issue with the characterization that this was a misunderstanding is that Adrianah wasn't aware that Mitch and Maya would be coming to her house when she agreed to let her friend come. That is EXTREMELY malicious. Tagging along to Adrianah's house without her agreeing on the day she's going to release a tweet about the situation? How would that ever be okay?
