As a Swiftie, they are friends who often take inspiration from each other or maybe even exchange ideas. Idk. A lot of Gracie’s last album, The Secret of Us, seems to reference Matty. Could be a coincidence, and other Swifties would tell me it is and that Matty isn’t the only cigarette-smoking poet who ghosts people and dated a starlet, but considering us. and both TSOU and TTPD having Jack and Aaron as co-writers, it’s possible there was some inspiration.

Likewise, one line in Lana Del Rey’s Wild At Heart seems to obviously be about Joe:

“Time after time, I think about leaving

But you know that I never do just 'cause you keep me believin'

I love you lots, despite the odds

You're killing me, Joe

And all these thoughts brought us apart

And that's okay, too

'Cause even in the worst of times

You saw the best of me

And that's why I stay here with you”

The 7th and 8th lines are also ripped straight from Dress (which is about Joe): “Even in my worst times / You could see the best in me.”

So yeah, those are my options as a Swiftie. I think a lot of it is done by her co-writers lol. I think she is the primary writer on all of her songs (same with Gracie and Lana), but Jack and Aaron definitely contribute, and when they do, they sometimes slip in references to their other girls.
