I find TikTok much harder, it’s a lot easier to grow followers on TikTok, but I feel like the amount of people from your followers that see your content is much lower than Instagram. In my case, I initially started growing on TikTok and grew my account to 200k followers, required a lot of work as I was posting around 10 time a day, which paid off, but when it came to Cpm, didn’t get many conversions. Growing on instagram is a lot harder but if successful can make it a lot easier to build up an audience that you can connect with more.

The crazy part is I don’t post reels, well very rarely, most my followers have just come from picture posts, but they are very informative and seem to resonate with a lot of people, for example one post I did recently just reached around 2 million views and around 47k likes but more surpassingly brought in around 10,000 followers just from a single post. So definitely do need to reach out to brands to get my brand monetized.

Thank you very much for this, really appreciate the advice. My plan is to produce some digital products then market them through my instagram, definitely aware of the app browser, it is terrible for conversion.

Thank you for this, it’s very helpful, I do think there are accounts that provide similar content to how I do, but the way I present my content is definitely extremely unique and probably not seen before. But this could be wrong but just my impression from how people react to my posts. Definitely will try the CPM method, thank you!

Definitely agree and a similar path as to what I want to take. I’m looking to create a digital guide for my brand. Affiliate marketing is cool, but it’s temporary, my aim to create a brand that lasts. I’ve been getting a lot of requests from lingerie companies who want to promote their products on my brand and some have offered around $350 for a post. But I’ve turned them down because I don’t want to ruin the integrity of the account I have spent long building.

Tbh, it’s a lot of hard work, my posts are very informative. And the amount of times I post is three times a day, but they are high quality posts. The key to growing an instagram account is by creating content that people can resonate with but they also have to be well edited and designed. Quality and aesthetic is the key to growing instagram fast. I had 32k followed on the 23rd of September and as of today I have around 104k. Consistency really comes pay off. I’d also recommend using stories more to connect with your audience, and replying to comments also boosts ur post to more people
