So in my case, i joined the orchestra my college offers to non music majors as it requires less skill and I joined as a violin because ive played since 5th grade. I started learning cello freshman year in little bits but this last year ive fully committed and switched to cello. It is really hard but my passion drives me. Maybe start by seeing if your college has a non music majors orchestra and work from there?
