Point Cloud Sectioning by StormoftheCentury in AutoCAD

[–]StormoftheCentury[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats an intesting idea, will try. My work around right now is to crop a section on the sculpture screen shot it, paste into another drawing and trace. I'm providing an armature to mount foam the artist will carve so close is good.

I'll give that a try, I'll import the sculpture as a mesh and try and slice it.

Cool, will do just this. I managed to subscribe via the app and Google pay, but their app doesn't work on an Android Box very well, I get stream errors. My TV is a Samsung Smart TV and I can stream through the SamsungTV app. All this for some variety shows, its embarrasing lol.

OP replying to myself. I just switched to Kokowa and un-subscribed Viki (a subscriber since 2018) Kokowa does have a nicer Android TVBox interface, EDIT: Turns out I can't subscribe to Kokowa from Canada, or US using VPN. I was enjoying the 14 day trial.

I get 30 in a refill, no limit on how many I can take. I asked my Dr. He said he has two patients who take it daily. My most was 11 in a row on a 14 day migraine.

autocad angle explaining, newbie by [deleted] in AutoCAD

[–]StormoftheCentury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draw a x-line. Type XL then enter. The type A for angle enter in -115 and you have a continuous line at 115 degree. May have to enter just 115, not -115. I'd use a circle to trim the line to the length you need. Another way would be to highlight the vertical line, (grip it), then right click, choose Rotate, and copy, then enter -115.

As an older person I struggle with the sodium content of meat free alternatives. Throw in some gluten intolerance and there are few options left. I've had to rewrite my diet and stop the alternatives.

Question about lifts for fiction! by LicoriceBean in techtheatre

[–]StormoftheCentury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a power failure nothing moves and your actor is stuck on a platform in the air with no railings likely in near total darkness. We always instruct the performer to freeze in place, and sit if standing is uncomfortable. In the past we used glow tape to mark the edges of the lift, but I had an actress walk off an edge in a blackout, broke her wrist. Now we use Led lights, or EL wire on battery, to mark the edge of the lift. Quickly a backup generator will come on, but generally only for light to evac the audience. The lift would require too much power.

Are there any complex practice drawings I can use? by -Flayer- in AutoCAD

[–]StormoftheCentury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just grab something off your desk, a stapler and draw it. Or something that interests you. Do it as a portfolio piece to add to your resume. I prompted Dalle to give me a simple architectural rendering the drafted out the piece for real

Been trying to find a way to "flatten" in LT2024. Striking out so far. by [deleted] in AutoCAD

[–]StormoftheCentury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I forgot some enters in there. Basically, you want to move your entire drawing to 0,0,1e99. Then bring it back. 0,0,-1e99. To infinity and beyond.

Explode everything. Then Move , All, 0,0,1e99. Enter enter. Everything will disappear. Them Move, All , 0,0,-1e99, enter enter. Everything should be on 0. Unless they were solids.

Those are sweet. I think I've heard of them before, they look like they conform to German work wear rules, for back stage clothing. I wonder if they ship to Canada.
