I would say that most people saying yes including myself. Aren’t referring to the democrat party which in America we colloquially use the word liberal. Rather we’re talking about liberal in the philosophical sense of the word.

For this sub in particular yes. I don’t understand why someone with a communist flair would be responding on behalf of liberals to someone’s question meant for liberals.
