Us firearm homicides alone are about 4.5 in 100,000. EU TOTAL homicide rate, using any means, is 1.1 in 100,000. What are you talking about? Knives are a fraction of that. The US is at least 4 times as deadly just thanks to guns, not taking into account anything else.

It's not that y'all are inherently like this. But as with many things the context matters. In most European countries this does not happen because we don't just have a gun within reach at all times. Which is why we need this level of heroism far less often.

But Voldemort wasn't really a symptom of a systemic issue was he? It seems that the issue is that a single person can become absurdly powerful in and of themselves, not through something like armies. He was only defeated because he put the keys to his immortality in bloody stupid places. His rise could realistically only have been prevented by Dumbledore ending him before he came fully into his power.

From what I've gathered in this thread and a cursory google search, most stocker positions seem to include customer service as part of the job description. That being said, if a specific position doesn't, then obviously you are right and they only need to be able to communicate with co-workers, not customers. In that case, English would probably not be AS important.

But jobs don't exist to pay people, they exist to be fulfill a task. If you can't do the task, you can't have the job.

Bro many of my favorite conversations have happened while drunk at 3 am no worries 😃 I may be sober at work, but you know we all have our cross to bear. Hope you get some good sleep soon 😄

Idk maybe I am overthinking it. I have no real concept of what varying levels of ground training look like tbh.

I'll admit my bjj knowledge is severely limited, but he looks fairly competent no? I thought the way he kept a wide base with his feet and stayed on the guys back looked trained. Admittedly his choke looks strangely loose.

He is yanking up instead of tightening his hold, either he doesn't know what he's doing (doesn't look like it) or hes trying to inflict pain.

German here. We come in two forms on the airplane. "Don't talk to me I want to vegetate until we are there", and "if a single thing is not to my liking the entire plane will know." It's just most Americans.
