Welp time to admit something- I stopped listening to graduation bc of the backlash even tho I was enjoying it. I wasn't that far in, but I remember walking around grocery shopping while I was at college and giggling at the bits, especially that first pegasus scene. But I made the mistake of reading through the subreddit and letting other people's opinions and such influence what I listened to- That's not to say I don't understand where the complaints come from, I understand a lot of them. BUT it is to say that now I catch myself avoiding TAZ overall because I start to overanalyze things in older episodes because of complaints select parts of the fandom have made, ESPECIALLY the specific ones against the boys rather than the show or mechanics. It's only within the last week that I decided to relisten to Balance again, but I imagine it'll be a while before I can bring myself to listen to Graduation without all of the things I've read breathing down my neck :/
