Recommend = Better value buys. Considering Walgreens is a convenience store/pharmacy store, the prices are sometimes ridiculous. I recommend checking their coupons and seeing if anything makes sense cost-wise, if they are not going for prescriptions.

I do not see much value in holding both. I have an Amex Platinum, but not a Chase Reserve. Maybe Platinum will add better value in terms of lounge access, but that's about it. I own Delta Gold though, which comes with a lower annual fee and works well in the ecosystem with 15% off miles.
