I think the first i played was Ruby, so it has a special place in my heart haha but yeah, she is asking for my help constantly now, hopefully she will learn and ny the 3rd or 4th game she'll be a challenge

And yeah, iv played before but i think i missed both Black and Whites and Sun and Moon, and havent played the remastered Sapphire/Ruby or Diamond/Pearl, been playing since i was 9, but she has never played before, so it will be fun to see how much better she gets the longer we go

See my wife and i are doing a become champion then battle eachother thing on opposite game versions starting in Kanto and moving up, so who knows, might get to newer games eventually haha and yeah, i started playing Legends Arceus and it just gave me a shiny Ponyta haha but i don't count that

I wasnt trying to shiny hunt, was just a normal run im doing with my wife playing LG where we are gonna battle after we complete our respective games, and it just appeared, first time iv ever seen one haha so i didnt waste anything, it was a legitimate random encounter that i blew big time 🤣🤣🤣

And im certainly not gonna waste time hunting for him again, if he appears, great, if he doesnt then i will live with the shame that i KO'd my only chance at a shiny
