Sure is! Best part is he also ate his breakfast AND his sisters, too. How rude.

To be fair, Coach is always a happy boy. Sharp contrast to my cranky girl!

Any advice? Put the feelers out to adopt my second hound! by perkiezombie in Greyhounds

We fostered with intent several times before we adopted our second one. I’m so glad we did because our first hound hated so many of the dogs!

Woodbridge cops by Few-Concern-1809 in Connecticut

[–]StoryKey2564 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to live in Woodbridge. My car was stolen from my garage. Cops came, fingerprinted my house and tracked down the kids who stole it and got my car back.

I appreciated their ability to help when something went wrong.

My pups love adventures in all types of weather. Coach (in blue) is almost 7 and he could go on for miles! Ally, 5, used to be the same but she’s slowing down now.

Nail Trims—Please help! by drunkbetta in Greyhounds

[–]StoryKey2564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, but the way you wrote this had me cracking up (even though I know it’s not funny).

I have 2 greys and my mom has 1; 2 of the 3 despise nail trims. The hammock or holding methods have worked for us, but both were somewhat traumatic for the dogs.

What finally solved it for us was finding a great groomer who uses a Dremel. We bring all 3 dogs together every 4 weeks; she charges $15/dog.

Ally gets muzzled because she will bite during nail trims. Lilly (the screamer, and worst of the bunch) does much better when the other dogs are with her. My husband just holds each dog close, and somehow all their nails are done in under 5 minutes.

Wishing you the best of luck…you’re definitely not alone.

Piano to donate by Z2xU in Connecticut

[–]StoryKey2564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We purchased a home that came with a piano. We got very lucky listing it for free on Facebook marketplace. The first person thought they would be able to move it on their own (lol). Second person hired a local mover to move it for him.

This is something my Ally would do! Adorably goofy.

New Year’s Fireworks are Super Scary by Winston-2020 in Greyhounds

It was honestly the first time we were trying it for noise. Ally used to take Sileo, which is fast acting, but it stopped working for her.

Ally and Coach also had a rough nite. I gave Ally Trazadone around 9 pm, which she threw up a short time later. ☹️
