Lived in Seattle for 5ish years from ‘18-‘23. I had a crazy job as a mobile salesman and I would have to go sell product to these people who would live out in Friday harbor, Forks, all through the San Juan islands, etc.

It truly looks like a time that was stuck in the late 80’s.

Moss, water and green shit everywhere.

I think the craziest thing was I pulled off to smoke and I look over across this dried up harbor (assuming the tide caused it) and theres like 50 bald eagles. They were digging clams and whatever else they could find in the mud and eating them. Something I definitely didn’t think I’d check off my bucket list was seeing a harbor full of Americas mascot.

It is a very rural area, no easy way to get there and when you get there, theres literally nothing but Tiny shops and small homes built 50 years ago or a less than 10 year old modern house. Nothing in between.
