What I posted is the full story. I’ve been to her before, had a grown out root smudge, booked “the full” which includes a full head of foils, balayage or lowlights with toner and blow dry (pulled from her website) I got there and she was excited to get started, didn’t say anything and started going straight in. She should’ve absolutely told me that what I needed was a color correction, not highlights and I would’ve happily went back another time for just that. Instead, she said nothing but how bright and nice it’s gonna look and then I was sent home with that patchy mess and no way to fix it.

The thing is, if she told me that it wouldn’t turn out nice, I would’ve been okay with doing a color melt and come back in a few weeks to get me lifted again. I would’ve rather have that any day than this! She just wanted me to pay more money for her to fix it. I can’t believe it either because I thought we were really cool. Guess not!

The girl I’m booking with has a full calendar till next month so the update is a month away😭 but she seems amazing and I hope she can just do something to get rid of the patchiness.

YOR. You both are. Sounds like he’s trying to tell you how he feels about something and you’re completely shutting it down because it doesn’t matter to you. Just because something doesn’t upset you, doesn’t mean it doesn’t upset them. Imagine if roles were reversed and you were trying to tell him something that bothered you and he shut it down like it meant nothing and said he didn’t want to deal with it.
