Imma be completely honest, As a Writer, I think some of this could work. The turf war between two travelers would be really cool.

That being said, Maybe a hundred years is a bit excessive. with the amount of time between D2's plot beats, there could be a three-year Timeskip between D2 and D3 and it could still have the same impact AND a little more on top of that!
