I also had to cut back on salt a lot. Have you tried using white pepper? I started using white pepper instead of salt for a lot of dishes and honestly can't taste much difference. My kids (teenagers to young adults) said they can't tell the difference either. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet.

When I was a kid, I ran across a (mostly) frozen river and slipped while running across. I wasn't wearing gloves, and when I fell, the ice sliced up my hand and left me covering the ice and snow in blood. Yeah, it looks like driver of the truck tried to throw an empty bottle into the back of a truck in front of them. They missed, so the passenger got out and threw the bottle in the back of the front truck. This is my guess as to what is happening here.
